The web article, Color Psychology: The Emotional Effects of Colors, shows that colors can be
associated with many different things that we interact with in life such as our emotions. Colors play a
big part in how your mental state of mind and your emotions react to the environment around you.
Many places can seem more relaxing to you and other places can seem more irritating. The color of the
space around you trigger these emotions.
The article reference can be found here: Color Psychology: The Emotional Effects of Colors.
In the article "How Color Affects Marketing" the writer, Channa Leichtling, shows us that
colors are eerywhere in the world and we see them every time we open our eyes. Out of all five of our
senses, we use our eyesight the most. Our eyes perceive over 10 million colors throughout our lifetime.
Channa tells us that our emotions a lot of the time are triggered by colors that we see. This affects the
way that many people feel about certain places.

Conserve Water PSA Poster
My topic was about the importance of conserving fresh water. Water today is one of the most important aspects of life. Without it we can not survive. This is why water is very influential for everything that we do because we can not function without it.
I learned that only 1% of the water on earth today is fresh water that we can drink. Most of the earth's water is salt water and is not healthy for us to drink. Every day, thousands of gallons of water are wasted from leaving water faucets on and taking long showers. We can conserve water more easily if we turn this items off quicker.
The interesting facts that I used from the website can be found here. These facts include that freshwater makes up a very small fraction of all water on the planet. While nearly 70 percent of the world is covered by water, only 2.5 percent of it is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Even then, just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields.
My finished PSA informs and educates the viewer by showing them the importance of water and how scarce it is becoming. This is an influence to everyone so that we can save water in order to save life.

Copyright: "A form of protection provided by the laws of the United States
(title 17, U.S. Code) to the authors of “original works of authorship,” including
literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, and certain other intellectual works."
Examples of Copyright:
1. A good example of copyright is when a person creates their own original song and they post it online for all to hear.
2. A teacher wants to show the class a story from online so he copies it from a periodical to show to the class.
Fair Use: Fair use is a defense against copyright infringement. It protects the person who used someone else's work for a critique or commentary. It is legal for someone to use others' work for these reason because of the fair use agreement. An example of the fair use policy is if someone makes a parody of someone's work, then they can't be caught doing something illegal because the fair use policy protects parodies.
Shepard Fairey Obama Poster: Shepard Fairey got sentenced to 2 years of probation and a fine of $25,000 for "tampering with evidence" as he used an AP photographer's work to create the Obama "Hope" poster. The court saw what he did as criminal contempt and destroying documents and evidence. The result was 2 years of probation and $25,000 worth of fines. He hopes to put this bad time behind him forever. For more information about this, go here.
Public Domain: The Public Domain consists of works that are either ineligible for copyright protection or with expired copyrights. No permission is required to copy or use any Public Domain works. They can also be very useful as a starting foundation for new creative works. They can be copied and distributed to anyone.

Dream Destination Get-Away
Canada is my dream destination because it is a very lush and beautiful country. One of my good friends live in Victoria, Canada and he says it is a beautiful region. I have never been to Canada, but I have always wanted to go.
The official tourism website for visiting Canada can be found here:
I imagine visiting Canada and having fun with hunting, meeting friends, and sight seeing. I would have a lot of fun like in the illustration of me at a lake with beautiful scenery.
